PM undergoes check-up at Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hospital
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday morning underwent regular check-up at the Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib KPG Memorial Hospital at Tetuibari in Kashimpur of Gazipur district.
On her arrival at the hospital, the Prime Minister was received by CEO of the hospital Joitun Solaiman and Director Arif Mahmud, UNB reports.
Sheikh Hasina herself went to the counter of the hospital for registration and paid the registration and check-up fees.
The Prime Minister`s health check-up began under the supervision of country`s renowned medicine specialist Prof Dr ABM Abdullah.
ENT specialist Prof Dr Pran Gopal Dutta and ophthalmologist Prof Dr Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque also examined the ENT and eyes of the Prime Minister.
Renowned ophthalmologist and former PM`s Adviser on Health and Social Welfare Prof Dr Syed Modasser Ali was present on the occasion. Dr Waziha Akhter Jahan, Dr Bonjaba and Dr Shahana Ferdous also took part in the health check-up of the Prime Minister.
Hasina prefers this hospital for health check-up as the country`s renowned physicians, including the above-mentioned ones, provide healthcare services to patients on regular basis here.
The Prime Minister usually provides assistance to each patient undergoing treatment at this hospital on behalf of the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
The Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib KPG Memorial Hospital started its journey on November 18, 2013 under a joint initiative of KPG of Malaysia and Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.
Since its inception, this hospital has earned the appreciation of all quarters for its improved healthcare services like medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatric, eye, ENT, neuro-medicine, cardiology.
This hospital has also made a special place in the country`s healthcare sector through rendering international standard nursing services, MRI, Citi scan and dialysis.
Member secretary of the Bangabandhu Memorial Trust Sheikh Hafizur Rahman and PM`s personal staff were present.
