Cautionary signal no 3 for sea ports

Due to strong monsoon steep pressure gradient persists over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, squally weather may affect the maritime ports and coastal areas of Bangladesh.

Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal no three, a met office statement said here today.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay and deep sea have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
