Landslide kills five of a family in Chittagong

Five members of a family including two children were killed in a landslide at Sitakunda Upazila in Chittagong at 3.45am on Friday.
The deceased are Bibi Fatema, wife of Rafiqul Islam, their son Md. Younus, Rabeya, wife of Md. Jahir and their two daughters Samia and Lamia.
Confirming the matter to Jagonews24.com, Nazmul Islam Bhuyan, Upazila Nirbahi Oficer of Sitakunda said that, the landslide occurred at Jangle Salimpur, a remote hilly area, due to incessant rain.
