Juba League activist stabbed dead
An activist of the Juba League, youth wing of the ruling Awami League, was stabbed to death in a factional clash at Kazipara in Jessore town on Tuesday night.
The victim was identified as Manik, 35.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Sheikh Gani Miah confirmed this to journalist.
He said two groups locked in a clash over establishing supremacy with sharp weapons at about 10:50pm, leaving Manik dead on the spot.
The body was sent to hospital for an autopsy.
