DSCC to provide free medicines for Chikungunya victims

With a view to providing proper treatment, Dhaka South City Corporation will provide medicines for Chikungunya-affected people at free of cost.

“We will provide medicines at free of cost to the affected people,” said DSCC Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokan while inaugurating fogging activities at seven wards titled 'Mission Dhanmondi' to control Ades mosquitoes to check 'Chikungunya' here today.

“The city corporation has been giving its highest efforts to eliminate the Ades mosquitoes...There is nothing to be panic,” the mayor said, adding that awareness should be created among the mass people about the disease.

DSCC Chief Executive Officer of Dhaka South City Corporation Khan Mohammad Bilal, among others, was present, at the event.
