Train service from Dhaka to Rajshahi-Khulna halted

An inter-city train derailed near Muladuli station in Ishwardi, halting train service from Dhaka to Rajshahi and Khulna.

Three carriages, including the engine, of Dhaka-bound Teesta Express from Khulna derailed at 1:30 pm on Saturday.

No casualties have been reported in the incident.

A four-member committee has been formed to probe into the incident, said Shaokat Jamil Mahsi, an official of railway Pakshi zone.
