BCS aspirants can apply without NID

People who would like to sit for the 38th BCS examinations can apply without national identity card (NID).

AIM Nesar Uddin, Examination Controller (Cadre), confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com on Tuesday.

“People can apply without NID card, but they will have to submit it prior to written test and viva voce”, he added.

Earlier, BPSC issued a circular saying National Identity (NID) card is a must for sitting for BSC exams.

But many students seeking first class gazetted job do not have NID cards. Following protest by the job aspirants, BPSC has backtracked from its stand.

The BPSC has invited applications for 38th BCS exams and last date for applying is August 10.
