Nine public servants promoted to secretaries
The government today promoted nine public servants to secretaries.
Public Administration Ministry issued an order in this regard.
According to the order, six of those public servants were promoted to secretaries-in-charge and three others in different positions in acting secretary rank.
The newly promoted secretaries-in charge are Md Kaikobad Hossain of Food ministry, Istiaque Ahmad of Environment and Forests Ministry, Md Alamgir of Education Ministry`s Technical and Madrasah Education Division, Shubhashish Bosu of Commerce Ministry, Kazi Shafiqul Azam of Economic Relations Division and Akhter Hossain Bhuiyan of the Defence Ministry.
Three other public servants who are promoted to secretaries are Md Anwarul Islam Sikder, rector of BCS Administration Academy, Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, chairman of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation and Mostafa Kamal Uddin, member of Planning Commission.
