31 Bangladeshis await death in prisons abroad

At least 31 Bangladeshis have been languishing in foreign prisons as death row inmates and they were convicted and sentenced to death following trials for murders and rapes.

Though the migrant Bangladeshis went to the promised lands in search for striking fortune, but unfortunately landed in prisons in foreign soils for committing crimes like murders and rapes or assisted such crimes and were awarded death sentence by the courts of the host countries.

Another 12 Bangladeshi migrants have also been convicted for assisting such crimes and were sentenced to life-term imprisonment.
