Gulshan attack planner Mahfuz arrested in C’nawabganj

Police arrested Sohel Mahfuz, one of the planners of Holy Artisan restaurant attack in Gulshan, and his three aides from Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj early today.

The other arrestees are Hafiz, Jewel and Jamal.

Confirming the matter, TM Mojahidul Islam, superintendent of police in Chapainawabganj said that police arrested them from a mango orchard at Puskani area in the upazila around 2:30am on Friday night acting on a tip-off.

Details would be revealed at a press briefing around 12pm in this regard, he added.
