Farhad Mazhar freed

Writer and columnist Farhad Mazhar has been freed after a Dhaka court allowed him to go to his own custody following his application.

Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Ahsan Habib passed the order after recording his judicial statement on Tuesday afternoon.

Farhad Mazhar went missing from his home at Adabar in Dhaka at dawn on Monday. His family claimed that he was abducted. However, law enforcing agency rescued him at night from Jessore.
