Four bodies recovered as trawler capsize in Meghna

Four bodies include two children recovered after five days a trawler capsized in the Meghna River in Chnadpur.

The deceased were identified as Aleya Begum (35), her daughter Swarna Akter (3), Manik (4) and Fahim.

The trawler was pulled out of water on Sunday evening.

Haimchar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) SM Sarwar Kamal confirmed the matter to JagoNews24.com.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 50 people went missing as a trawler being hit by an oil-laden vessel in Haimchar upazila due to the dense fog.
