Mild earthquake felt in Sylhet

A mild earthquake was felt in the northeastern part of the country.

The tremor was felt at 11:30pm on Sunday in Sylhet. However, no casualty was reported.

The earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitudes hit Assam region in India, 283 kilometres off the Sylhet, Sayeed Ahmed, a meteorologist of the Sylhet Meteorological Department, told Jagonews24.com.
