SC upholds verdict on Kallyanpur slum eviction

The Supreme Court (SC) has upheld the verdict of High Court that stayed the eviction drive of Kallyanpur slum for three months.

The four-member Appellate Division bench of SC led by Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order on Sunday after hearing.

Barrister kamal Hossain and Barrister Sara Hossain moved for the petition while Attorney General Mahbubey Alam standed for the state.
