BNP leader Morshed Khan, 15 others sued over graft
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday filed a case against former foreign minister M Morshed Khan and 15 others over embezzlement of more than Taka 383 crore.
“ACC deputy director Sheikh Abdus Salam filed the case against 16 people including M Morshed Khan and his wife Nasrin Khan with Banani Police Station,” ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told.
According to the case documents, the accused secured loan of Taka 383.22 crore from Arab Bangladesh Bank in collusion with officials of the bank and embezzled the money.
