Amusement spots draw huge crowds across country

Eid zest and pleasure continued for the second day on Tuesday across the country as there was blissful presence of visitors at recreational centers in the city and elsewhere in the country.

Vehicular movements and pedestrians on the normally busy city streets were very thin today.

The buzzing city life became soothe as thousands of people left for their village homes to celebrate the Eid with their near and dear ones.

Thousands of people, especially children, poured in the city`s parks, historic places and other recreation centres in the afternoon. The Shishu Park at Shahbagh and National Zoo at Mirpur witnessed huge crowds.

Children, young boys and girls wearing colorful dresses gathered at the places of recreation where small makeshift shops were set up to sell different foods and toys.

Eid gatherings of children and cultural functions were also held at different places in the city.
