Pahela Baishakh sex offender arrested

Detective Branch (DB) of Police has arrested one person named Md Kamal in connection with sexual assault during Pahela Baishakh celebration at Dhaka University in 2015.

He was arrested in a drive at a residence in the capital`s Chawkbazar area on Wednesday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police`s Detective Branch Deputy Commissioner (West Zone) Mashrukur Rahman Khaled confirmed the matter to JagoNews24.com.

He said, we identified eight people from CCTV footage and Kamal is one of them.

Earlier on April 14, several women and children were sexually assaulted by some people at TSC.
