No bar to accept complaint against SI Masud

Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon said on Wednesday, there is no legal bar to accept Bangladesh Bank official Golam Rabbi`s complaint against SI Masud Sikdar.

He said this at a press briefing at the media centre at the Supreme Court Bar Association.

He said, the Supreme Court Chamber Judge’s order that stayed the case filing over this incident became ineffective as the tenure of his order expired after January 25.

Earlier on January 21, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court stayed a High Court order that asked police to accept Bangladesh Bank official Golam Rabbi`s complaint and arrest SI Masud Sikdar.
