Deputy speaker`s mother Hamidunnesa passes away

Hamidunnesa, mother of deputy speaker of the Bangladesh Parliament Adovcate Fazle Rabbi Miah, died of old age complication at Goita village under Shaghata upazila of the district on Wednesday noon. She was 101.

She left behind three sons and two daughters and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn her death.

She will be buried at the family graveyard of the village after Esha prayer on Wednesday.

Whip of the Bangladesh Parliament and MP from Gaibandha-2 Constituency Mahabub Ara Begum Gini, acting president of district AL and administrator of district council Advocate Syed Shams-ul-Alam Hiru, general secretary Abu Bakar Siddique and newly elected mayor Advocate Shah Masud Jahangir Kabir Milon expressed their deep shocks at her death and conveyed sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
