Bill for Tea labor’s welfare passed

The ‘Bangladesh Tea Labors Welfare Fund Bill-2015’ was passed in National Parliament on Tuesday.

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed moved the bill in the House and it was passed by voice vote.

The new law has been replaced the ‘Bangladesh Cha Sramik Kallyan Fund Ordinance-1986’, which was promulgated during the military regime.
