Suspected militant den cordoned off in Rajshahi, 3 held

Police cordoned off a suspected militant den and arrested three men at Tanore Upazila in Rajshahi.

Being informed, the law enforcers cordoned off a house of Dangapara village of Panchondor union in the upazila since 12am on Monday.

Police also arrested three suspected militants and sized two suicidal vests, a foreign-made pistol, five round bullets and a gun magazine from their possession.

The detainees are Ebrahim Hossain, 26, Esrafeel Hossain, 24, and Rabiul Islam, 25.

In this connection, Sumit Chowdhury, Additional Superintendent of Police, told Jagonews24.com that, police cordoned off a house at the village in Panchondor union suspecting it a militant den and held three men from them.
