RAB held two for ethnic girl gang-rape

Rapid Action Battalion(RAB) on Tuesday night arrested two alleged in connection of the rape of the Garo girl in a running microbus at Kuril in the capital. Arrestees are identified as Ashraf alias Tushar and the driver of the microbus Lavlu.

Ashraf was arrested from Kuakata and Lavlu was held in the capital, said Mufti Mahmud Khan, Director of Legal and Media wing of RAB.

He said, the held two were directly involved with the crime. RAB is looking for the rests involved in the gang rape.

Earlier on Thursday (May 21), the Garo girl was taken into a microbus forcefully and was gang-raped.

The girl later filed a case with Bhatara police station on Friday.
