Govt. decides to create 50 thousand posts in police
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said her government has decided to create fifty thousand posts in police.
The premier said this while addressing at a program at Rajarbag Police Lines on the occasion of police week-2016 on Tuesday morning.
Prime Minister said her government is always caring for the welfare of police force as they are engaged in serving people round the clock.
Sheikh Hasina said that police forces have to work for the people to attain their trust and respect as the force is the last shelter of people.
She took salute in the annual parade of thirteen contingents of police forces in the inaugural session.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Inspector General of Police (IGP) A. K. M. Shahidul Haque, Additional IGP Jabed Patwary, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion, Opposition leader Rawshan Ershad and high-ups official of different department were present among others during this time.
