Murder case filed against SUST teacher

A murder case has been filed against Dr. Ariful Islam, head of Mechanical Engineering department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

Farhana Chowdhury Runi, wife of the victim Ataur Rahman, filed the case with Jalalabad police station around 11pm on Sunday.

Jalalabad Police Station OC Akter Hossain confirmed the matter to JagoNews24.com.

Earlier on Saturday, college teacher and writer Sheikh Ataur Rahman and his uncle Gias Uddin were killed when the car of Prof Dr Ariful Islam knocked them down near the main gate of the SUST campus.
