RAJUK dumping the cave

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) started dumping the piling cave of the under-construction building with sandsacks to check the collapse of Hotel Sundarban and adjacent road in Karwanbazar.

Dhaka North and South City Corporation, National Bank and Abul Monayem Group are to assist the dumping project, sources from RAJUK say.

On the other hand, Abdur Rahman, acting Chairman of RAJUK said case will be filed against the responsible for the incident.

Earlier this morning a wall bordering the hotel and the north side road of the extension project of Hotel Sundarban caved in because of the piling. The hotel was evacuated in fear of collapse.
