President authenticates proposed budget for 2017-18 FY

President M Abdul Hamid in Thursday authenticated the national budget for 2017-18 fiscal and the revised budget for 2016-17 for placing before the Jatiya Sangsad by Finance Minister AMA Muhith.

The President authenticated the budget at his Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban (parliament) office.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Finance Division’s Senior Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamoon and Chairman of the National Board of RevenueMd Nojibur Rahman were present.

Earlier, on his arrival at the Parliament Bhaban, President Hamid was received by Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah and other senior officials concerned.
