Journo Altaf passes away

Journalist Altaf Mahmud passed away at 8.40am on Sunday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU).

Altaf was the president of one portion of Bangladesh Federal Journalist Union (BFUJ). He was 65.

He had been suffered from Cervical Stenosis, Myelopathy and Radiculopathy decease for a long.

Neuron surgeon Professor of BSMMU Doctor Kanak Kanti Barua confirmed this to Jagonews24.com.

President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed their deep concern separately.
