Cyclone Mora: Police evacuates tourists
Tourist police have evacuated the travelers from Cox’s Bazar sea beach to safety as cyclone Mora is bearing down on the shore.
“We asked the tourists to stay in safe places in their hotels,” Raihan Quazemi, ASP of Cox’s Bazaar zone Tourist police, told Jago News on Monday evening.
Mentioning that some tourists take it as adventure, he said, “This is not correct and that’s why we advised them to act as per direction.”
Maritime ports of Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar have already been advised to hoist great danger signal number 10 while Mongla and Payra ports to hoist great danger signal number eight.
