86 families under power network in Benapole

Some 86 families of Patbari village near Benapole Land Port under Sharsa upazila of the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Sharsa Palli Bidyut Samity, BSS reports.

Sheikh Afil Uddin, MP, formally inaugurated the electrification programme as the chief guest on Friday at a simple function held at the village.

Sharsa upazila chairman Sirajul Haque Manju, general secretary of Sharsa upazila Awami League Nuruzzaman and general manager of Sharsa Polli Bidyut Samity Monwarul Islam were present at the function, among others.
