Met office predicts rainfall in parts of country

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, a met office release said.

Besides, mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna and Barisal divisions and the regions of Faridpur, Madaripur, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhaki, Feni and Pabna and it may abate.

Day temperature may fall by (1-3)oC and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

The country`s maximum temperature 37 degree Celsius was recorded at Satkhira on Friday while the minimum 21.5 degree Celsius at Rajarhat today.

The sun sets at 06-40pm today and rises at 05-12am tomorrow in the capital.
