High Court stays Kallyanpur slum eviction
The High Court on Thursday stayed the eviction drive of a slum ‘Porabosti’ in capital’s Kalyanpur area for three months.
The High Court also asked not to harass or arrest the slum dwellers.
A HC bench formed by Justice Tariqul Hakim and Justice Bhismadev Chakrabarti passed the order following a writ petition filed by Human Rights Organization Ain O Salish Kendra.
