16 fake DB men arrested in city

Police, in separate raids, arrested 16 people impersonating detective branch (DB) personnel from the city’s Rampura and Ramna areas on Friday.

“We arrested 16 persons on charges of impersonating DB men and recovered a huge quantity of goods used by the police such as handcuff, firearms, and four vehicles from their possessions from Rampura and Ramna area on Friday,” said a DB official.

Filing of cases to this end is underway.
