Banani rape case: driver Billal and bodyguard Azad held
Law enforcers have arrested two accused Billal and Azad in connection with a rape case at The Raintree hotel in Dhaka’s Banani.
A team of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Billal, the driver of prime accused Ahmed Safat, from Ibrahim hotel in Nawabpur area of Dhaka on Sunday night, said Jahangir Hossain Matubbar, commander of Rab-10.
Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Azad, the bodyguard of Safat, in Gulshan area on the same day, DB source said.
