3 killed, 25 wounded in Rangpur road crash

Three people were killed and twenty five others wounded in a road accident at Jaygirhat area of Mithapukur upazila in Rangpur at 11pm on Tuesday night.

The injured men were admitted to Upazila Health Complex and Rangpur Medical College Hospital separately.

Locals said, a Dhaka bound night coach arrived in front of the cold storage at Jaygirhat coming from Panchagarh and collided head on with wood laden trolley coming from opposition.

During this time three men were killed and twenty five others wounded on the spot.

Hearing the news, police and fire brigade official rushed to the spot and recovered them.

Confirming the matter Officer-in-charge of Mithapukur Police Station Humayun Kabir told Jagonews24.com that, identities of them could be known immediately.
