12 kg gold seized at Shahjalal

Dhaka customs house seized 12 kilograms of gold from a toilet of Regent Airway’s plane at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Tuesday around 7pm.

Shahiduzzaman Sarkar, Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Customs confirmed the matter to jagonews24.com.

He said, the flight from Bangkok via Chittagong landed in Dhaka.

We suspect that the airline’s employees may be involved in the matter, he added.
