2 outlaws killed in Rajbari ‘gunfight’

Two members of an outlawed party have been killed in a reported ‘gunfight’ with the members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Goalondo upazila of Rajbari.

The incident took place at Rakhalganchi char area under the upazila early today.

The deceased were identified as Bappi, the leader of the regional leader of outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party’s Lal Pataka faction, and his aide Lalon.

Rab recovered four foreign made pistols and 60 rounds of bullets from the spot.

Roice Uddin, commander of Rab-8, confirmed the matter.
