Khaleda places wreaths at Zia’s grave

Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia along with party leaders and activists placed wreaths at the grave of party founder and late president Ziaur Rahman marking his 80th birth anniversary on Tuesday noon.

The BNP chief reached the graveside around 12pm and after placing wreaths she attended a prayer session there.

Acting Secretary General of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Barrister Moudud Ahmed were present among others in the program.

BNP, its associate bodies are observing the day with various programmes.
