Bus crash kills 2 motorbike riders

Two motorbike riders were killed when a bus hit them on Deviganj-Nilphamari road at Moidan hat area in Panchagarh district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Jakirul Islam, 40, of village Prodhanpara in Sonapara union and Rezaul Islam Swapon, 35, of Bonarpara in Gaibandha district.

After the incident locals seized the bus and vandalized it but bus drive and his associate managed to flee away from their clurches.

Confirming the matter Babul Akter, officer-in-charge (OC) of Deviganj Police Station said that, the bodies were sent to hospital for autopsy.
