Road crash kills NSU student Afrida

A student of North South University (NSU) was killed in a road accident in the capital’s Uttara on Monday noon. 

The deceased was identified as Afrida Ahmed, second year student of NSU. Her father Benzir Ahmed is the trustee board member of the university. 

According to the source, Afrida came under the accident when a speedy minibus hit a private car carrying her on the way to her home. Later she was admitted to Apollo Hospital in the capital’s Bashundhara where the doctors declared her dead.

In this connection, Md. Shahjahan, Registrar of NSU, told Jagonews24.com that, Afrida will be buried at Banani graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza after Asr prayer.
