Ramadan office timing 9am to 3:30pm
The government has fixed new office timing during Ramadan for the offices of government, semi-government and autonomous bodies.
Office hours will be from 9am to 3:30pm with a 15-minute prayer break from 1.15pm to 1:30pm.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on Monday.
It is said in the meeting, banks, insurance companies, other financial institutions, post offices, BTTB, Bangladesh Railway, hospitals, state-owned industries, factories and other organisations whose services are essential will follow their own timing considering public interest.
