PM walks barefoot on the beach

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has walked barefoot on the Inani beach at Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar.

She spent some time on the beach along with her entourage and military members around 12pm. During that time, she exclaimed in delight to see the beauty of ocean.

Earlier, Prime minister inaugurated the country’s first largest 80 km marine driveway around 11am on Saturday.

Sheikh Hasina arrived Cox’s Bazar on a daylong visit to inaugurate and lay foundation of a number of development projects.

The prime minister reached the country’s main tourist city by a Biman flight of wide-bodied Boeing (737-800) aircraft on the expanded runway of the Cox’s Bazar International Airport.
