80.35% pass SSC

A total of 80.35 percent students have passed this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday morning at the Prime Minister’s office.

Results will be available for the students from 2pm in their respective schools, on education board websites (http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd), by SMS and via the government website.

To receive the results through sms, one needs to type the word SSC, then the first three letters of the respective board (for example DHA for the Dhaka Board), leave a space and type the roll number, another space and year in 4 digits (e.g. 2017) and then send the message to 16222.

This year, a total of 17, 86,613 examinees under the 10 education boards took part in the examinations in 3,236 centres.

Beginning on February 2, the written examinations ended on March 2.
