4 get death penalty for killing school boy

A tribunal of Women and Children Repression Prevention in Kishoreganj on Wednesday awarded death penalty to four convicts for killing school boy.

Judge of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal,  Awlad Hossen Bhuyian, passed the order.

The four convicts are: Dulal Mia, Shohag, Aminul and Dalim, all of them are residents of Pakundia upazila.

MA Afzal, Public Prosecutor of Kishoreganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, confirmed the matter.

According to the case statement, Tutul, a fourth grade student of Awal Memorial Kindergarten in the upazila, was abducted by the convicts on August 12, 2014 and demanded Tk 10 lakh from Tutul’sfamily as ransom. Two days later, he (Tutul) was found dead.

On August 14, Kamal Uddin, father of the deceased, lodged a case accusing four with Pakundia Police Station.
