N`ganj 5-murder victims were not strangled to death: Asaduzzaman

Residential Medical Officer (RMO) Dr Md Asaduzzaman of Narayanganj General (Victoria) Hospital said, victims of Narayanganj five-murder incident were not strangled to death.

Dr Asaduzzaman told this to the reporters after the autopsies.

He said, most of the injury marks were found on their heads. They died due to head injuries. No sharp weapon injury was found in their throats.

Earlier on Saturday night police recovered five members of a family whose throats had been slit in a house in the Baburail area of Narayanganj sadar upazila.

The victims are Taslima, 35, her daughter Sumaiya, 7, son Shanto, 10, brother Morshedul Islam, 20, and sister-in-law Lamia, 20.
