Newspaper’s MD held with ammo in Mymensingh

A journalist and his associate were held with arms and ammunition from his office at BSCIC industrial area in Mymensingh early on Sunday.

The detainees are- Managing Director (MD) of Daily Jahan Mehedi Nasim and his associate Russel.

Mymensingh detective branch (DB) officer-in-charge Imarat Hossain Gazi ensured this to Jagonews24.com.

He said, on information, police conducted a drive at Daily Jahan’s office and seized three foreign pistols, 15 bullets, three butts of Chinese rifles, nine samurai swords and 2 briefcase arm-making materials.
