3107 manpower to recruit in Prison

A total of 3107 manpower will recruit in prison to increase the service of the jail.

Deputy jailer and twelve psychologists will have in recruitment posts. 

Prison department has planned to appointment a large number of manpower in accordance with assurance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The government has already approved the proposal of the prison department.

The recruitment process will be done after replacing the Dhaka central jail at Keraniganj.

However, Prison Training Institute has started their activities in Dhaka after approved their proposal at Executive Committee of National Economic Council (Ecnec). Apart from full-fledged prison training academy will build soon in Rajshahi.

On January 20 to 26, prison department have chalked different program to observed prison week amid festivity across the country.

In this connection Additional Inspector General Colonel Fazlul Kabir told Jagonews24.com that, we want to turn the prison into reformatory.
