PM to visit flood-hit Sunamganj April 30

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would visit flood-affected haor areas of Sunamganj on April 30.

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would visit flashflood-hit haor areas of northeastern district of Sunamganj on April 30 to see for herself the flood situation there," PM`s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.

Flashflood triggered by heavy rainfall and the onrush of water from the upstream have submerged all haors of the district, damaging huge Boro crops.
