Muggers shot 2 brothers, snatch Tk 25 lakh

Muggers shot on two brothers and snatched Tk 25 lakh from their possession at Fatulla in Narayanagnj on Friday night.

The injured two brothers Md Liton (33) and Md Milon (30) were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

According to source, the two brothers were returning to their residence at Enayetganj from their furniture shop at Panchabati.

A group of muggers riding on two motorcycles intercepted the rickshaw carrying them and tried to snatch the bag containing the money.

Being resisted, the muggers shot them, leaving them critically injured. Later, the muggers fled the scene hurriedly with the bag.
