Truck crash kills 4 workers

Four workers were crashed to death by truck on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Yousuf Nagar area of Awshkandi under Nabiganj upazila in Habiganj district on Friday morning.

The deceased are Rojob Ali, 50, Monor Ali, Manik Miah, 45 and another unidentified person was died on way to M A G Osmani Medical College Hospital.

Police recovered dead bodies and sized the truck.

After the incident locals blocked the Dhaka-Sylhet highway and later police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.

In this connection officer-in-charge of Highway Thana Golam Nabi ensured the matter. He said, the incident was occurred due to severe fog on the road. The situation is now under control, he added.
