Indefinite strike: varsity’s students to face session jam

The student of thirty seven public universities is going to face endless session jam following the indefinite strike of the teachers.

Bangladesh Teachers Association Federation enforced the strike on Monday demanding to reduce paying discrimination from 8th national pay scale.

No classes and examinations were remained continued at all public universities for the third consecutive day of the strike.

Agitated teachers said they will back to academic activities if the government will fulfill their demand immediately.

Two leaders of teacher’s federation submitted a memorandum with their demands to Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid after holding meeting with him.

However the student of the universities said, they are going to session jam amid the indefinite strike of the teachers.

Secretary General of the federation Professor Dr. A. S. M.Maksud Kamal told Jagonews24.com that, we met with education minister and told him about our demands.

In this connection Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told Jagonews24.com that, we discussed how to overcome the situation.
